A Gift from the Sea
Updated: Sep 23
"Patience, patience, patience is what the sea teaches."
~Anne Morrow Lindbergh
Our lives are similar to the sea in that all things are in continuous motion, tide comes in, tide goes out. We are created in the same way, to learn and grow always moving forward.
Just as the sea, to gain strength we must turn inward.
To endure. To stir the heart, to inspire our imagination.
Endurance strengthens our character.
As we all have seen, particularly through these challenging times, our ability to be positive and proactive matter. We need the skills to recover, cope and keep going even when we aren't really sure where it is we are going.
Patience, patience, patience.
If there is one lesson that I have been handed time and time again, it is to trust myself. Go slow, breathe, do my best.
In life we face dark times, when we are not able to see what is directly in front of us.
Turn on your flashlight, walk cautiously, bravely forward.
Do not question what lies ahead, just believe that you are strong enough to handle it.
We must accept the conditions of this life, the ebb-tide of each day.
Tides recede. Giving space.
We are fully equipped.
Take a long deep breath.
Soon, there will be light.
Let the light in.
Let there be light in your heart.
Progression has brought us here.
We are all just one drop of water making up the ocean.
In Peace and Love,
