My absolute favorite time of year is upon us, and I have quite a list of the good stuff. So lace up your hiking boots and break out the warm fuzzy throws and crockpots! Pumpkin recipes await... and pumpkin being so highly rich in vitamins and minerals-and not many calories gives us the green light!

1. Stroll through the woods, hiking in the White Mountains is the ultimate weekend activity happening right now!
2.Visiting a Apple Orchard, Windy Ridge in Haverhill is packed with pick your own apples, pumpkins, homemade cider donuts and wine
3. Carving Jack-O-Lanterns
4. Roast pumpkin seeds
5. Leaf peeping-in the country, take a drive through the Kancgamangus Highway
6. Roast smores at a bonfire

9. Burn plenty of fall scented candles, my favorites are Autumn Leaves and Pumpkin Spice

14. Make a huge pot of homemade soup: corn chowder or seafood chowder
