In the Flow

"Go with the Flow. Force Nothing, Let it Happen, or Not Happen, Trusting that whichever way it goes it's for the Best."

As long as you are living a creative life, you will continue to grow. You grow in your own power, using the traits and skills that uniquely make you, You.

Creatively Skilled People tend to acquire the following traits:

They are able to contact and enjoy silence

They connect with and enjoy nature

They trust their feelings

They remain centered among confusion and chaos

They enjoy play, childlike

They trust themselves

They are not attached and are open to new possibilities

Everyone has a set routine that dominates her day. Most of us fill our waking hours with the same activities, see the same people, work with the same co workers, drive the same route everyday, eat the same foods and think the same thoughts. This allows little room for creativity unless you intentionally make room for it. All around us are unlimited possibilities and choices.

Making space for the new and exploring the unknown opens the way for growth and a deeper life experience.

Find a way to open space for this growth in your life, and the more dedicated you are to it, the better and more exciting your results will be.

Write out an action plan for yourself to follow for the next month. Include incorporating the following qualities as often as possible.

Silence-everyday intentionally block out time to sit in silence. This can be when you first wake up or when you go to bed at night. Strive for 15 minute intervals, and just allow your mind to be still. The more you give yourself this gift you will find an inner peace and a replenishing of your soul that is valuable to your growth.

Nature-strive to get out in nature at least once a day. It can be on your lunch break, in the early morning or evening, but removing yourself from the confinement of the material world and entering the open space of the world is nourishing for your mind, body and soul.

Journaling-writing everyday thoughts and capturing your emotions on paper is extremely therapeutic for your creativity, and inner growth.Really tap into your feelings as much as you can, this relieves the emotion and allows you to channel it into an outlet. It is satisfying to get it out and leave it on the page. It is your choice whether you will go back and reflect or not, I find it helpful after a month to go back and see how my lifes situations have unfolded and how my feelings about it played a part in the outcome.

Remain calm and centered-

Plan on taking 5 minutes throughout the day to slow down and get in touch with your innerself when things are the most hectic. Sit comfortably, close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths. Bring your attention to the center of your chest. You will feel stress and burden lift, and mental activity slow down.
