My Summer Reads~

"You can find magic wherever you look. Sit back and relax, all you need is a book."

~Dr. Seuss

I can't think of anything better then a sunny summer afternoon, lying on the porch with a tall glass of lemonade and a great book I love.

These are the ones that I have devoured over the past few weeks.

If you find yourself on a flight or a trip to the beach, make one your companion. They wont disappoint.

Elin Hilderbrands new summer novel, Summer of 69' will transport you to Sunny Nautical Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Unwind, Relax, and take a Flashback to a great era- a great lazy beach read.

Maybe you should talk to someone by Lori Gottlieb was a fast moving account of the relationship between therapist and patient. I savored every chapter and loved the characters and their stories. Hated to have it end!

Mrs. Everything by Jennifer Weiner-This story follows two women starting from early childhood and ending in their 70s following the struggles, good and bad times and overall how their lives have evolved over the years. A funny description of how the more things change the more they stay the same!

Summer Sisters by Judy Blume-An oldie but definitely a Hidden Treasure! A tale of best friends adventures throughout life, growing up, growing pains and ultimately growing roots.

Becoming by Michelle Obama-Insightful and honest window into our former First Lady. She writes with grace in this endearing memoir on her unique life from the uplifting highs to the lows encountered in every life. I find her a class act and champion role model for our young girls and for all women.
