Inner Peace = Outer Calm

"You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the ocean in a drop."

I have recently learned one very important truth, and I believe this one truth is something all women can relate to.

It is the insecurity and fear of being totally and completely seen.

Really Seen, no masks, no cover-ups.

I can honestly say I now can see.

I see you walking past me with no eye contact, never seeing me, too focused running through the day, with a million things to do on your list.

I see you on the never ending days where your heart is screaming for you to sit and read, write, create. Yet you turn away to rescue the needs of others.

I see you as you play small over and over again, just to make those around you feel comfortable.

I see you so clearly, as I used to be you.

And then I began working on my personal inner space, which includes spirituality, faith, self love and self acceptance, I finally came to an inner peace which ultimately led to an outer calm.

Never in my life had I felt the deep realization and awareness of how vital and important to my wellbeing having my inner life in order really reflects on my entire existence. Releasing self limiting thoughts and making peace with myself has made all the difference in my life. I am a work in progress, learning and growing and committing myself to improve to my best self everyday.

We live in a world where there is too much judgement. Women are by far the worst to each other. I have been at both ends of the judgement, and I believe most of us can say the same. What I have learned is that women judge other women to make themselves feel better, and more superior.

To point out a flaw in one, is to cover up your own.

When we are gossiping or passing judgement onto another, we are only hurting ourselves and showing our own inner insecurity. We can learn to stop participating in these hurtful acts, and begin to accept one another with love, praise and support.

Once we do, we begin to see that almost immediately we feel better about ourselves. The inner self will be filled with love, and this love will work its way from the inside out.

After all to be authentic creates a special energy, one that people recognize as honest and they will want to be around you.

It takes courage to stand up and own your own power and uniqueness.

It is exhausting and stressful living life wearing a mask or constantly displaying an identity that is not who you truly are.

There is power in living from your inner truth, and feeling comfortable in your own skin.

Having a calm and peaceful disposition on our insides will shine naturally from within.

In Peace and Love,
