Stay Curious

"Life. It is your road and yours alone. Others may walk it with you, but no-one can walk it for you."

One of the most magical characteristics of children is their ability to question everything, from their most vulnerable space, the heart. I believe we all could use this encouragement to stay open, stay curious by paying attention to the wonders of our world and universe. Curiosity is a muscle that I believe must be regularly flexed.

Change your angle, and relish living in the uncertainty. I have compiled some quotes that I find are useful in finding and staying curious. Enjoy! Feel free to leave your favorite quote.

"Lasting happiness cannot be found in any pursuit or goal or achievement. It does not reside in fortune or fame. It resides only in the human mind and heart, and it is here that I hope you will find it."

Water does not resist. Water flows. When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress. Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you. But water always goes where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it. Water is patient. Dripping water wears away a stone. Remember that, my child, you are half water. If you can't go through an obstacle, go around it.Water does."

-Margaret Atwood

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma-which is living with the results of other peoples thinking.

Don't let the noise of others opinions drown out your own inner voice. Most importantly, Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become.

Everything else is secondary."

-Steve Jobs
